From the photograph above you can see the Brisbane River to the left of the boat ramp in Kookaburra Park. When travelling away from the boat ramp in this direction, you will eventually come to where the Brisbane River meets the Bremer River.

It is from this point that power boats enter the river. The Karana District Kayak & Canoe Club enters for their excursions here.
